EVIDENCE INTEGRITY

Evidence Vault & Chain of Custody

Forensic-grade evidence management with complete traceability from inspection to litigation

What Is the Evidence Vault

The Evidence Vault is a secure, immutable digital repository for all forensic data collected during vehicle audits. Every photograph, video, diagnostic file, and report is cryptographically hashed, timestamped, and GPS-stamped at the moment of capture.

This creates an unbroken chain of custody from inspection through to potential litigation. Evidence integrity is verifiable, tampering is detectable, and authenticity is provable in court.

GPS-Stamped Media

All photographic and video evidence is GPS-stamped at the point of capture, creating verifiable geolocation proof that evidence was collected on-site.

Tamper-Proof Reports

All PDF reports are cryptographically signed and hashed. Any modification to the report after issuance is immediately detectable through hash verification.

Hash Verification Explained

Cryptographic hashing creates a unique digital "fingerprint" of a file. If even a single character in the file changes, the hash changes completely.

When we issue a report, we publish its hash. Recipients can independently verify that the report they possess matches the original by recalculating the hash. If the hashes match, the document is authentic and unaltered.
